Gratitude for Front Line Healthcare Workers
posted on April 20
for Front-Line Healthcare Workers
Are your newly homeschooled children and youth in need of a ministry project? How about the adults? Join churches throughout the Bay District to write gratitude letters and/or create artwork for healthcare workers fighting Covid 19 on the front lines. These kinds of letters and artwork of appreciation warm the hearts and lift the spirits of our community’s courageous healthcare workers, who selflessly put themselves in harm’s way daily to care for the most critically ill. Let us be the Church together and share our gratitude and prayers for these heroes on the front lines of the Covid 19 battle!
Once you have compiled letters from your local church, mail in a larger envelope to the address below. Deacon Stephanie will distribute the letters to various hospital workers and departments at her workplace, Kaiser San Leandro and perhaps beyond to other local Kaiser hospitals.
Mail to: Rev. Stephanie Gameros, Chaplain
Spiritual Care Services, room 218
Kaiser San Leandro Medical Center
San Leandro, CA 94577
Please consider the following disciplines/units to direct the gratitude letters and artwork to:
Critical Care Unit
Nurses (RN’s and LPN’s)
Environmental Services (Housekeeping)
Physical, Speech and Occupational Therapists
Radiology and Imaging Technicians
Pharmacists and Pharmacy Techs

Thank you and blessings of wellness and safe keeping to each of you! Thank you for staying at home.
